There is a boys' and girls' race for each age group

Arctic Fox Trot Age 3-4 .25K

Polar Bear Pursuit - Age 5-6 1K

Moose Marathon - Age 7-8 1K

Caribou Cruise - Age 9-10 1K

Course
Different age groups will compete on the different trails throughout the Zoo. Detailed maps will be available the day of the event.
 
Prizes and Awards
  • Alaska Zoo Kid's Fun Run t-shirt for every participant
  • Each participant receives a ribbon
Registration and Fees
  • Registration must be made online at www.alaskazoo.org.
  • Racers and their families admitted at no charge from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
  • Donations to the Alaska Zoo are encouraged.
  • $10 race entry fee per racer due on race day.
  • No Refunds
Parking
Parking is available in the Alaska Zoo parking lot and the Greek Orthodox Church located at 2800 O'Malley Road just east of Lake Otis and O'Malley. A shuttle service will provide transportation to the Zoo.  For everyone's safety do not park on O'Malley, Pacer or Our Road.

Zoo Release of Liability
For myself and my child or children, I hereby waive any claim against the Alaska Zoo, McDonalds Corporation, its franchisees and affiliates, Odom Corporation, Healthy Futures, Providence, and all volunteers, partners, sponsors, and employees for any injury, death, damage, harm, or loss resulting from the Alaska Zoo Kids Fun Run sponsored by Alaska McDonalds. I understand that zoo trails are gravel trails over rolling, hilly terrain; and further understand that children may trip and fall while running on these trails. Further, I herby grant full permission to the Alaska Zoo Kids Fun Run and to Healthy Futures and its agents to use any photographs, videotapes, motion picture recordings, or any other record of this event for any purpose.
